Week 1 Down

So this was our first week apart, and while we missed each other tons it was more bearable than I expected. I got to Waco by about 6:15pm on Friday. Coincidentally, Dustin had just started a four hour class at 6pm. Figures. 

I walked in the door to find gorgeous flowers waiting for me with a sweet note and two very excited doggies! We complain to each other a lot about wanting more space than this one bedroom apartment, but walking in it felt so welcoming and cozy. We have lots of wonderful memories here together and it will be bittersweet when we move on. 

My first week of my clerkship went really well. I don't plan to blog about my jobs, but suffice it to say I am very happy there. I've also really enjoyed the time with my parents. Dustin spent most of the week writing various papers and assignments, but after he turns in his last one on Monday he will be done with school until the first week of June. Yay for some much need time off for him!

This morning Dustin is at "class" again, this time its a ropes course. I hope he has fun and that it doesn't get too hot. I will be spending the day finishing up ONE LAST paper. I'm excited to write it, as it's on a controversial legal topic that I have very strong opinions about, but I am looking forward to a mani/pedi break in the middle of the day!
