We arrived in Austin Saturday night shortly before dinner time and went with my parents to have dinner at one of my favorite restaurants: Houston's. They have a fabulous salad there that comes with sashimi tuna just barely seared on the outside. I'm not a raw-like fish person, but this just melts in your mouth, it's fabulous. I also like this restaurant because of its wood paneled walls and ceilings, real candle wall sconces, etc. Just an all around nice restaurant. Thanks for treating us mom and dad!
Sunday we went to church with my parents and my mom played bells with some of the other members of the bell choir for some songs. Afterwards my grandma (mamie) and uncle Marshall came over and Seth finally woke up. We had a delicious meal (Chicken Poblano, yum!), had our traditional Easter egg hunt, sang and had cake and icecream for Seth's birthday this coming week and just all around enjoyed being with family.
Dustin is still off from school today (the main campus at Baylor is apparently more reverent of Easter than the law school because they get an extra day). However, he is spending the whole day with his group working on a huge project that I can't wait to be over :)
I have three weeks left of school, a week and half of class and a week and a half of finals. Then its off to Austin. I have really mixed emotions about moving to Austin. I'm so excited to be out of Waco, I'm looking forward to my clerkships, and I'm thrilled to be staying with my parents, but I also know I'm going to miss Dustin terribly, and Pumpkin and Lucy too. We should be able to have 3 day weekends together almost every weekend, so hopefully that will help.
On a side note, Dustin's sister Erin totaled her new Mustang this weekend. I know she's really upset about the car because it was her Christmas gift this year and she loved it, but we're so so glad that she's okay! She walked away without a single broken bone, thank goodness!
We hope everyone stays safe in the coming week!
